Piezoelectric ceramic sheet, commonly known as buzzers, is an electronic sound-producing component. Between two copper circular electrodes, a piezoelectric ceramic material is placed. When an alternating audio signal is connected, it vibrates to generate corresponding sounds. Used widely in toys, audio electronic watches, instruments, clocks, and timers.
Mechanical deformation occurs in response to voltage changes. Conversely, vibration generates an electric charge. Piezoelectric ceramics can be used as ultrasonic wave sensors by applying electrical signals to dual piezoelectric wafer elements for bending vibration and wave emission.
