Product Description
When the train is running and braking, the brake part that directly rubs the wheel to stop the train is the brake shoe; the tile shaped brake block made of cast iron, composite material or other materials holds the wheel tread tightly and makes the wheel stop rotating through friction.
Railway brake shoe (also known as railway brake block or train brake block) is mainly used for the braking of heavy-duty freight cars. It is applicable to railway freight cars with maximum running speed of 120km/h and axle load of no more than 25t.
Composite Brake Shoes: Divided into high friction coefficient (H) and low friction (L) types. Note: "H" brake shoes cannot be interchanged with "L" or cast iron types.
Powder Metallurgy Brake Shoes
Made from metal powder matrix with friction agents and lubricants, processed through high-temperature sintering (900-1050 ºC). Available in low, standard, and high friction coefficient versions.
High Phosphorus Cast Iron Advantages
★
Stable Friction: Phosphorus content of 2.0%-2.5% provides reliable braking force across various speeds.
★
Wear Resistance: Service life is more than 2.5 times that of medium phosphorus shoes, slashing maintenance costs.
★
Enhanced Safety: Produces fewer sparks, reducing fire risks in flammable environments.
